AFTER the success of the first Panna KO challenge previously held in conjunction with TelBru & B-Mobile EPL Football Masters Club in March of this year, the fast paced exciting competition returned with mass participation from previous competitors and new ones to boot.

This time around the challenge was held as part of Telekom Brunei Berhad's (TelBru) 5th year anniversary celebration.

The first length of the Panna KO Challenge began on May 6, 2011 with the finals held on May 8, both at the Mall, Gadong. Nearly 150 participants registered online for the challenge.

Panna KO is a street soccer football game where one player goes against another player, in which the players must score the first "panna" or commonly know as "ole" and Bruneians call "lasut" in order to win the game despite getting the highest score of goals.

"This is also the first time Panna KO is introduced in Asia, and proudly the first in Brunei to initiate. I think it plays a big role in promoting football skills and the sport itself among the football fans in the nation. TelBru aspires to take the lead in cultivating an active lifestyle' GM
