On May 2, 2010 was the last time Carlsberg appeared on the Liverpool Home Shirt and their final appearance on the shirt is a special one too.
Carlsberg have dominated the red Liverpool shirt every home since the past eighteen years however, May 2, 2010 they close their account with Liverpool and their name was displayed in Chinese language whilst they face Chelsea.
Liverpool is the only UK city which is taking part in the World Expo in Shangai and Carlsberg have come up with the idea of interacting with the club’s massive fan base in China.
The Chinese Carlsberg logo was the fifth logo ever printed on a Liverpool FC shirt. Liverpool FC’s first sponsor was Hitachi, followed by Crown Paints, Candy and then Carlsberg in 1992.
